Mary Lou Grillo Bode 
Mary Lou Grillo Bode, 82, of Seymour passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 2:30 a.m., at The Waters of Seymour.
Mary was born in Seymour on April 5, 1927, the daughter of Albert F. and Doris M. (Crabb) Gill.
Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a retired personal caregiver.
Mary is survived by her children, James Andrew (Joyce) Grillo and Lou Ann Gosnell; five grandchildren seven great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Harper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Martin Joseph Grillo; a daughter; Judy Grillo Mann; brothers, Bob Gill and John Gill; sisters, Helen Storz and Lois Monies; a grandson, Tom Smallwood; a granddaughter, Melissa Gosnell; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Marie Roeder.
Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Steve Cherry officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call on Sunday, at Voss Chapel from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be written to the First United Methodist Church of Seymour.
