Seymour Daily Tribune - March 7, 2006 James Edward Boling Aug. 16, 1944 – March 4, 2006 James Edward Boling, 61, Cookeville, Tenn., died Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. Mr. Boling retired from working as a custodian at Seymour High School. Born Aug. 16, 1944, in Seymour, he was the son of Hershel Mike and Dorothy Magdeline Neawedde Boling, both of whom preceded him in death. On May 2, 1973, he married Janice Marie Laraway in Seymour. She survives in Cookeville. Other survivors include two daughters, Jean Boling, Cookeville, and Michelle Boling, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Joshua Randall and Danae Randall, both of Tennessee; five brothers, Bob Boling, Seymour, Clarence Boling, Scipio, Larry Boling, Gayle Boling and Mike Boling, all of Seymour; three sisters, Linda Terry, Mary Foster and Rosie Able, all of Seymour; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Freddy Boling, Dale Boling, Clifford Boling, Clyde Boling and a half sister, Laverne Emily. The Rev. Dennis Allman and Rev. Ron Phillips will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Seymour Christ Temple in Seymour. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel in Seymour and from noon until time of service Thursday at the church. Burial will take place at Robertson Cemetery in Honeytown. Memorials may be given to Seymour Christ Temple or United Pentecostal Church, 1810 N. Dixie, Cookeville, TN 38501.
