Seymour Daily Tribune George B. Booker George R. Booker, 95, Seymour, died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002 at Heritage House, Seymour. Mr. Booker was a retired farmer and was a school bus driver for Seymour Community School Corp. for 31 years. Born July 2, 1907 in Sparksville, he was a son of Frank and Ella Barnett Booker, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 25, 1927, he married Wilma Termehlen in Brownstown, and she died Sept. 5, 1993. Mr. Booker is survived by a daughter, Betty (Ervin “Shorty”) Hehman, Seymour; a grandchild, Janet George, Kentucky; and a great-grandchild. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Medford and Neal Booker; six sisters, Pansy Bush, Naomi Nance, Grace Walker, Geneva Hancock, Ruth Lind and Carrie Huffman; and a great-grandson. The Rev. Sam Davenport was to conduct funeral services at 3:30 p.m. today at Voss and Sons Funeral Service Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial was to be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
