Seymour Daily Tribune May 21, 2002 Judy LaVerne Branaman Judy LaVerne Branaman, 57, Austin, died at 11:10 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2002, at her home. She had been ill for several months. Mrs. Branaman was a member of First Christian Church in Scottsburg and had worked at Nolting’s Supermarket and Irwin Union Bank, both in Seymour. She was a 1962 graduate of Brownstown High School. Born Dec. 16, 1944, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Lillian Bernice Blackwood Tuelker of Vallonia and the late Chester Cockerham. On July 21, 1963, in Brownstown, she married Richard “Darrell” Branaman and he survives. She also is survived by two sons, Richard Dale Branaman, Scottsburg, and Kenneth Lee Branaman, Seymour; two daughters, Teresa Jo Meyers and Tanya Lynette Montgomery, both of Seymour; two brothers, G. Keith Cockerham, Seymour, and Roger D. Tuelker, Vallonia; nine grandchildren, Richard “Darrell” Branaman, Robbie Branaman, Kayla Branaman, David Branaman, Christopher Branaman, Abigail Branaman, Kirstin Ruth Meyers, Kyle Joseph Meyers and Tanner Lee Alexander; and a step-grandchild, Makayla Montgomery. The Rev. Phil LaMaster will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Southern Indiana.
