Seymour Daily Tribune January 22, 2002 Sherman Bratton Sherman Bratton, 66, Crothersville, died at 9:55 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Heritage House of Seymour. He had been in failing health for one year. He was self-employed as a tool maker. He was a member of Masonic Lodge in Quitman, Ark., and lived most of his life in Arkansas. Born Jan. 27, 1935, in Franklin, he was the son of Walter Lewis and Charlotte Colister Bratton. Survivors include two daughters, Robin Bratton, Georgia and Mrs. Glen (Charlotte) Ross, Crothersville; a son, Walter Bratton, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Gray, Florida. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. The Rev. Bill Weaver will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Uniontown Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to donor’s choice.
