Florence C. Brewer

Florence C. Brewer, 97, Freetown, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mrs. Brewer was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Jonesville. Born Sept. 26, 1908, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Edward and Clara Voelz Strietelmeier, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 26, 1927, she married Clyde L. Brewer, who died Dec. 14, 1991.
Survivors include four daughters, Genet Lowe, Beulah (James) Ross and Mary (Joseph) Ross, all of Columbus, and Susie (Carl) Kuhlman, Freetown; 13 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Louis Strietelmeier, and a sister, Ethel Smith.
The Rev. Edgar Keinath will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, Washington Street, Columbus. Burial will take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Jonesville.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Jonesville.
