 Lonis Carl Brock, 80, of Crothersville, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus.
Born Feb. 22, 1935, in Bedford, he was the son of Carl and Ivy Flinn Brock, both of whom preceded him in death. On Dec. 3, 1966, in Crothersville, he married Betty Sue Davidson Brock, who survives in Crothersville.
Lonis was a 1955 Tunnelton High School graduate. He retired from Graessle-Mercer Co. and worked at Weyerhaeuser for 20 years, both in Seymour. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and camping and coached Little League baseball for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years and 11 months, Betty; four children, Tommy J. (Sharren) Brock of Franklin, Diane (Tom) Baumann Tramel of Houston, Texas, Tammy Sue (Dale) Beechboard of Indianapolis and Jay D. Brock of Crothersville; eight grandchildren, Jenny Baumann and Johnny Baumann, both of Houston, Texas, Zachary Beechboard and Allison Beechboard, both of Greenfield, Shaylynne Canfield and Mason Brock, both of Seymour, Breanna Brown of Indianapolis and Keith Edgar Johnson of Seymour; and a brother, Leslie Brock of Barrien Springs, Michigan.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Crothersville with Pastor Randy King officiating. Burial will follow at Cana Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
