Seymour Daily Tribune February 6, 2007 Morris L. Brock Oct. 24, 1937 – Feb. 3, 2007 Morris L. (Red) Brock, 69, Martinsville, and formerly of Seymour, died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, while in the company of family members at The Waters nursing home in Martinsville. Mr. Brock was a retired truck driver from Weyerhauser in Seymour. He was a member of the Eagles club. Born Oct. 24, 1937, in Attalla, Ala., he was a son of Rufus M. and Bizzie Lee (Beard) Brock, both of whom preceded him in death. Survivors include one daughter, Theresa Linnabary, Seymour; one son, Steve (Stephanie) Brock, Martinsville; two sisters, Pauline (Dan) VonFange, Seymour, and Mary (Charles) Denson, Tennessee; one brother, Charles Robert (Joan) Brock, Seymour; and two grandchildren, Lucas and Kara. He was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Bryant; and two brothers, Rufus Lee "R.L." Brock and an infant brother. The Rev. Roger Smith and Pastor Shelly Zook will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. There will be an Eagles service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Morgan County EMS Association or Morgan County C.E.R.T.
