Seymour Daily Tribune January 2, 2007 Dillion D. Brown Feb. 10, 1931 - Jan. 1, 2007 Dillion D. Brown, 75, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Brown worked for Irving Materials, Inc. as a truck driver, receiving his service pin award for 25 years before retiring in 1996. Mr. Brown was a member of Fountaintown Christian Church. Born Feb. 10, 1931, in Warren County, Ky., he was the son of John and Mary (Tinsley) Brown. On Aug. 16, 1968, in Greenfield, he married Clara (Hall) Lacy Brown, who survives. Other survivors include sons, Mike Brown, Indianapolis, Patrick Lacy, Mississippi, Michael (Linda) Lacy, French Lick, and James (Joyce) Lacy, Quincy; daughters, Lana (Paul) Osman, Nashville, and Nancy (Mitch) Staples, Greenfield; brother, Jack (Nerva) Brown, Middletown; sisters, Jeannette Swartz, Rushville, Diana (Bob) Robinson, Manilla, and Rose (Bud) Henderson, Carthage; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Sherman Brown and two infant brothers. Pastor John Davis and Rev. Michael Smith will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Erlewein Mortuary, Greenfield. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Lung Association.
