Marcella June Brown

Marcella June Brown, 68, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2002, at her daughter’s residence.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Medora Wesleyan Church. She worked five years at Sylvania and 23 years at ITT Plastic, Medora.
Born May 11, 1933, in Lawrence County, she was a daughter of Alva McPherson and Ida Hughes McPherson, who both preceded her in death. On May 21, 1949, in Brownstown, she married Harley R. Brown and he died Jan. 14, 1995.
She is survived by three sons, Harley E. Brown, Campbellsburg, Jackie L. Brown, Medora, and Stephen J. Brown, Bedford; a daughter, Jeanette “Lynn” Baughman, Medora; a brother, Robert McPherson, Mitchell; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, James, John, Medford, Bill and Herbert McPherson; and two sisters, Ethel Chastain and Mary Stabler.
The Rev. Charles “Chuck” Morgan will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora. Burial will be at Dixon Chapel Cemetery, Lawrence County.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
