Seymour Daily Tribune February 9, 2002 Henry Milton Bryant Henry Milton Bryant, 79, of Greensburg and formerly of Newport, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at Heritage House Nursing Home at Shelbyville. Mr. Bryant was owner and operator of Bryant & Fisher Concrete Contracting and had served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church at North Vernon and was a former member and deacon at Burney Baptist Church. Born Jan. 5, 1923, at Columbia, Ky., he was a son of Henry Logan and Nancy Gertrude Cravens Bryant. On Sept. 29, 1942, in Louisville, he married Stella P. Curry, who survives in Greensburg. Other survivors include a son, M. Brad Bryant, Columbus; four daughters, Linda Fisher, Elizabethtown, Shirley Howlett, Louisville, Elissa Keppel, Shelbyville, and Sandra Lee Westerfield, Greensburg; three sisters, Magdalene Montgomery, Louise Corbin and Alene Kinney, all of Campbellsville, Ky.; a brother, Floyd L. Bryant, Campbellsville, Ky.; eight grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert L. Bryant, and a grandson, David Burch. The Rev. Jon Beck and the Rev. Bryan Trotter will conduct services at 1 p.m. Monday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home at Westport. Burial will be in Westport Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
