Melody Bryant Seymour Tribune - June 8, 2007 Melody Bryant, 41, of Glasgow, Ky., and formerly of Seymour, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, after a long battle with leukemia. She was born and raised in Evansville where she met her husband, Randy. They enjoyed traveling, fishing, and gardening. Melody cherished her time as a homemaker, helping to raise her children and grandchildren. She also liked to read and spend time with her pets, including her beloved pet Nick, now deceased. Melody was very detail-oriented and well-organized, and as her family grew, she enjoyed photo journaling. Melody’s faith was a constant in her life, along with her daily devotions and Bible study. Melody is survived by her husband of 19 years, Randy; daughters, Andrea Dillman and husband, Travis, Kurtz, Melissa Bryant, Evansville, and Lara Jensen, Seymour; parents, Jimmy and Lula Jane Huddleston, Evansville; grandchildren, Tyler and Sariana Dillman, Kayden and Ceara Jensen; brothers, Jeff Butler and wife, Kathy, Reed, Ky., Ron Butler and wife, Kathy, Henderson, Ky., and Phillip Butler and wife, Shelly, Henderson, Ky.; aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Essie May Ashby. The Rev. James Pickerill will conduct services at 1 p.m. Monday at Alexander East Chapel in Evansville, with burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Hanson, Ky. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
