Burrell, 79, of 725 Miller Lane, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Lutheran Community Home, after being in failing health for four years. She was retired from Excello Shirt Factory after 35 years and was a member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Easyville. Born August 6, 1906, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Winfield and Ida May Crothers Bush. She lived most of her life in Jackson County. She married Ray Burrell in September 1936, in Jonesville. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Jerry Lee Burrell, Montrose, Colo.; two sisters, Esther Ferguson, Indianapolis; and Frances Larrison, Hollywood, Fla.; and two grandsons, Jeff and Troy Burrell. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel in Seymour, with the Rev. Vesta Allman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon to time of services Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be designated to the Heart Fund.
