Seymour Tribune - February 16, 2005 Harold Eugene Bush Nov. 26, 1919 – Feb. 15, 2005 Harold Eugene Bush, 85, Seymour, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital, North Vernon. Mr. Bush attended Medora School and Walnut Grove School. He retired from Jay C Food Stores after 37 years as a truck driver. He was also an Evangelistic minister in his earlier years. He loved his wife and enjoyed his family. He enjoyed traveling, dining, spending time outdoors and visiting friends. Born Nov. 26, 1919, at Medora, he was a son of William A. Bush and Nellie Pansy Booker Bush, who preceded him in death. He married Louise Janeal Allman April 11, 1942, at Seymour Christian Church, and she survives. He also is survived by five children, Mary Lou (Thomas) Wineinger, Bonnie Kay (Kenneth) Holt, Wilma Jean (James) Johnson and David Franklin (Patti) Bush, all of Seymour, and William Allen (Juanita) Bush, Columbus; nine grandchildren, Mark Thomas Wineinger, Mississippi, Rebekah Sue Jones, Seymour, Melissa Dawn Dutcher, Columbus, Timothy Lee Johnson, Bobbie Joe Sandlin, Michelle Renee Combs, Shani Marie Bush, Kassandra Kay Holt and Jason Paul Hampton, all of Seymour; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Russell Bush, Missouri, Don Bush, Columbus, Bernard Bush, Seymour; and two sisters, Norma Short, California, and Leah Jo Carpenter, Seymour. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Bush; and two sisters, Jean McAulliff and Ruth Fox. The Rev. Larry Arrowood will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle, Seymour, with burial at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans Post 47 and Vietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from noon until time of service Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family.
