Seymour Tribune - May 27, 1948 Opal Louise Bush Mrs. Opal Louise Bush, 32, Woodstock, Seymour R3, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. Fred Robertson. She had been ill for the past six weeks. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o"clock Friday afternoon from the Voss Mortuary with the Rev. C.E. Stanley, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, in charge. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary at any time. Mrs. Bush was born January 16, 1916, in Seymour, the daughter of William and Olive Martin Alexander. The mother survives. She spent her entire life in this vicinity and was married February 2, 1935 at Sauers to Woodrow R. Bush, who survives. Many friends throughout Seymour and Jackson county mourn her death. Besides the mother and husband, she is survived by three children; Riley Eugene, Connie Sue and Jerry Lynn, all at home; a brother, William Alexander, of Seymour and four sisters, Mrs. James Jaynes and Mrs. Arthur Gerth, both of Seymour; Mrs. Eugene Wright, of Crothersville and Mrs. J.A. Taylor, of Los Angeles, Calif. Two children and a brother, Merrell Alexander, preceded her in death.
