Sarah Jane Bush, aged 81 years, three months and 23 days, passed away Sunday afternoon at 12:45 o'clock. She had been sick since the first of August.

Mrs. Bush was a daughter of William and Sarah Jane Barrett and was born July 20, 1858. She was united in marriage September 24, 1876, to David Bush. She moved here from Washington county in 1904. She was a trustee of the Pilgrim Holiness church at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock, the Rev. Raymond Street, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness church, officiating. Burial in the Zollman cemetery.

Surviving are the following children: Minard R. and Milbern G. Bush of Kingsburg, Calif., Mrs. Mary Phillips of Fresno, Calif., Albert F. and Lewis R. Bush of Elwood, Norman W. and Willie Bush of Seymour and Mrs. Allie Childers of Medora.
