The Tribune Seymour, Indiana July 19, 2012 Phillip Lee Buster Phillip Lee Buster, 80, Seymour, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Jennings Health Care Center, North Vernon. Mr. Buster was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. He retired from Cummins in 1987, where he was employed as a security guard. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and was an avid reader. Born Feb. 26, 1932, in Edmonton, Kentucky, he was the son of John Evan Buster and Mary Frances Garland Buster Greathouse. On January 26, 1957, he married Carolyn Sue Anderson Ream, who survives. Besides his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by his children, Michael (Alane) Ream, William (Bessie) Ream and Tuwana (Frank) Simpson; nine grandchildren, Helen, William, Heather, Shawn, Tesha, Amanda, Crystal, Tony and Michelle; 13 great- grandchildren; brothers, Evan J. Buster and Garnett R. Buster; and sister, JoAnn Shepperd. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Harris; and grandson, Matthew Dale Ream. The Rev. Samuel Allman will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
