The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Tuesday, April 13, 1897 Page 3 DIED Mrs. Silas Carpenter died at 5 o'clock, Tuesday, April 13, 1897, with consumption, aged some thirty-two years. She has lived near Uniontown, where she has been sick for some time. And being satisfied that her end was near at hand she wanted to be taken to Noblesville, her former home, to die. She was brought here in a wagon. She took worse and taken to a home near the city park and a physician called who could do nothing for her and she died as before stated. She leaves a husband who has the sympathy of all.
