Patricia Ann Bannister Combs

Patricia Ann Bannister Combs, 70, Crothersville, passed away at 12:02 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Combs worked as a former manager of Best Western Hotels and was employed by Pantasote, Scottsburg Plastics and U.S. Shoe Factory. She enjoyed playing the guitar and playing solitaire and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness congregation in Scottsburg.
Born Oct. 14, 1937, in Jennings County, she was a daughter of Emil R. and Gladys Irene Engel Bannister.
Survivors include a son, Tony Combs, Austin; two daughters, Sherry Wright and Pam Barger, both of Crothersville; two sisters, Martha Jane Bannister and Burdette Yvonne Vanover, both of Crothersville; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald R. Bannister, and a sister, Violet June Hilner.
Robert Edinger will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will take place at Crothersville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
