Sharon E. Cox, 62, Seymour, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, after a six-month illness.
Ms. Cox attended Cornerstone Community Church and was employed at Wal-Mart Transportation, Seymour. She was a former church treasurer at Freetown Church of the Nazarene. She loved family reunions, playing piano, horseback riding, roller skating and collecting dolls and angels. She also loved her dog, Skipper.
Born Aug. 15, 1944, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Rowena Moore and Charles L. Knott Sr. Her father preceded her in death, and her mother survives.
Other survivors include a son, Anthony (Kelly) Knott; a brother, Donald C. (Vee) Knott; two sisters, Shirley J. Walls and Janet D. Walls; two grandsons, Zachary and Kyle; and a granddaughter, Elaine.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles L. Knott Jr.
The Rev. Crawford Huff will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with a special tribute by her friend Vicki Pogue. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Schneck Cancer Center.
