Seymour Daily Tribune March 27, 2002 Laura Leann Culp Laura Leann Culp, 21, Seymour, died at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. Miss Culp was a 1999 graduate of Seymour High School and was a four-year member of the Lady Owls volleyball team. She was a junior at Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis and was a member of the Jaguars volleyball team. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Born Dec. 28, 1980, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Jeffrey G. Culp and Martha Ragle Culp. Both survive. Other survivors include two brothers, Brian Jeffrey Culp and Kyle Andrew Culp, both of Seymour; grandparents, Norma Culp, Seymour, and Charles and Viola Ragle, Otwell; an uncle and aunt, Tony R. and Peggy Culp, Seymour; an aunt, Doris Ragle, Evansville; a cousin, Hillary Culp, Seymour; and Craig Carter, Seymour. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Wilford Glen Culp. The Rev. D.G. Morris will conduct services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium at Seymour High School. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the gymnasium. Memorials may be given to the Laura L. Culp Memorial Scholarship Fund. Voss and Sons Funeral Service in Seymour is in charge of arrangements.
