Seymour Daily Tribune March 6, 2002 Bernice Dailey Bernice “Bee” Dailey, 90, died at 6:15 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2002, at Heritage House of Seymour. Mrs. Dailey was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Seymour. She was a receptionist at her husband’s office, Dailey’s Insurance Agency, in Seymour, and was a member of Eastern Star. Born Aug. 8, 1911, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Tullard Able and Minnie Mellencamp Able. On Sept. 28, 1930, she married Maurice Roberts, who died in 1937. On March 25, 1939, she married Roy C. “Dick” Dailey, who died Nov. 10, 1971. Survivors include a brother, Calvin Able, Seymour; two sisters, Mrs. John (Eva) Roberts and Florence Baurlie, both of Seymour; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and –nephews; and several great-great-nieces and –nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Leroy Roberts; a brother, George Able; and a sister, Enola Smith. The Rev. Ron Lawhead will conduct services at 10 a.m. Friday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church or donor’s choice.
