Seymour Daily Tribune April 26, 2002 Odessa Davidson Odessa “Minnie” Davidson, 68, Austin, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville. Mrs. Davidson was a retired cook from Scott County School District. She was a member of Austin Christian Church. Born June 23, 1933, in Jackson, Ky., she was a daughter of Farmer Deaton and Lillie Kilburn Deaton, who both preceded her in death. On Sept. 17, 1949, she married Paul Davidson and he survives in Austin. She also is survived by two sons, James Davidson, Scottsburg, and Rodney Davidson, Columbus; two daughters, Pauline Fox, Austin, and Patricia Ford, Madison; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy Deaton, North Vernon; and four sisters, Sirilda Terry, Sarah Blanton, Jewel Sebastian and Flossie Witten, all of Austin. The Rev. Don Allen will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be at New Providence Cemetery, Austin. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Austin Christian Church Building Fund.
