Seymour Daily Tribune January 14, 2002 William Davidson William “Junior” Davidson, 80, of North Vernon and formerly of Nebraska, Ind., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at St. Vincent-Jennings Hospital, North Vernon. Mr. Davidson had worked for Boswell’s Grocery in Nebraska and was the assistant postmaster at the Nebraska Post Office. Born Dec. 3, 1921, in Jennings County, he was the son of William Sherman Davidson and Isabelle Collins. Survivors include a sister, Mable Hendrix, Columbus, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond Davidson, Jack Davidson, Paul Davidson, John Roscoe Davidson and George Owen Davidson, and a sister, Alberta Mae Davidson. The Rev. Patrick Harrigan will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Vance-Fisher-Sawyer Funeral Chapel, North Vernon. Burial will be in Ottercreek Cemetery, Nebraska. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
