Seymour Daily Tribune May 29, 2002 Loretta M. Dugan Loretta M. Dugan, 59, of Loogootee and formerly of Brownstown, died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at Jasper Memorial Hospital, Jasper. She had been ill for eight months. Mrs. Dugan was a homemaker and had attended Trinity Gospel Tabernacle, Loogootee. Born Jan. 26, 1943, in Shoals, she was the daughter of Leo and Roma Thompson Young, who both preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Dugan, Knoxville, Tenn., Steven Hellums, Odon, and Anthony Hellums, Elnora; two grandchildren, Jessica Hellums, Elnora, and Chelsea Hellums, Odon; two brothers, Robert Young, Loogootee, and Charles Young, Cloverdale; and four sisters, Helen Sue Sons, Indianapolis, Carolyn K. Hellums, Loogootee, Edna Schnell, Odon, and Ramonia Walton, Bedford. She was preceded by a sister, Ruth A. Persinger; and two brothers, Eugene Young and John Dean Young. The Rev. Jim Downs will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Gospel Tabernacle. Memorials may be made to the church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown.
