John Henry Edwards

John Henry Edwards, 75, Seymour, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center.
Mr. Edwards was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Seymour. He served in the Air Force, was a car inspector for the B&O Railroad, drove a truck for 30 years before retiring in 1994, worked for Seymour Pharmacy and Kamman's Home Care. He was a devoted husband, father and friend.
Born on July 8, 1931, in Seymour, he was the son of Trusten and Ina Prather Edwards, who both preceded him in death. On Sept. 13, 1958, in Seymour, he married Ann Lewis and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Julie Edwards, Seymour; a son, John Randal "Randy" (Connie) Edwards, Seymour; and one grandson, Brandon Edwards, Seymour.
The Rev. Dave Klakamp will conduct a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post #89, Disabled American Veterans #47 and Vietnam Veterans #7, all of Seymour.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Funeral Service, Seymour.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
