Robert L. Edwards


Robert L. Edwards, 66, Villa Hills, Ky., passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at Hospice of the Bluegrass, Fort Thomas, Ky.
Mr. Edwards was a caseworker with the Internal Revenue Service. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He enjoyed woodworking, genealogy, canoeing and all outdoor activities.
He married Sylvia Sue Smith Edwards, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Chad Edwards, Montgomery, Ala., Sean Edwards, Burlington, Ky., and Paul Edwards, Florence, Ky.; brother, Daniel Edwards, Casper, Wyo.; mother, Sarah White Edwards, Florence, Ky.; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Highland Cemetery Chapel.
Arrangements were handled by Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger.
