Seymour Daily Tribune Lillian Eggeman November 7, 2006 July 22, 1923 - Nov. 4, 2006 Lillian Eggeman, 83, died at 10:17 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mrs. Eggeman was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925 and a past member of Immanuel Senior Citizens. She worked at the Seymour shirt and shoe factories, was a homemaker and worked on the dairy farm with her beloved husband. Born July 22, 1923, in Vallonia, she was a daughter of Clarence and Louise Borcher Peters, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 6, 1943, in Salina, Kan., she married Omer Eggeman, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Larry (Debra) Eggeman, Seymour, and Harold (Rita) Eggeman, Bloomington; a daughter, Joyce (Bob) Gallion, Seymour; two grandchildren, Brian Eggeman and Tammy (Greg) Jones, both of Seymour; two stepgrandchildren, Earl (Melanie) Hensely, Seymour, and Julia Hensely, Conroe, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Heather and Kyle Jones, Seymour; and six stepgreat-grandchildren, Colton and Cody Hensely, Seymour, and Quinn Hensely, Conroe, Texas, Nadine Gallion, Regan Gallion and Robbie Gallion. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Peters and Ralph Peters, and three sisters, Gertrude Thomas, Edith Lambring and Ina Peters. The Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, the Rev. Philip Bloch, the Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez and Vicar Chuck Ferry will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the church. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Immanuel Lutheran School or the donor's choice.
