Emerson, well known druggist at Brownstown for more than half a century, who died suddenly Tuesday morning at his home on State Road 250 in Brownstown, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the home. The Rev. E.A. Dawson, pastor of the Brownstown Methodist Church, will be in charge. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Emerson, who operated the Emerson Drug Store, had been associated in the drug business for fifty-three years, and was active in civic and fraternal life of Brownstown. He was a member of Washington Lodge No. 13, Free and Accepted Masons, and of the Brownstown Knights of Pythias lodge.
