"Bobbie" Ward Emmons, 65, Columbus, died at 11:08 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Columbus. The Rev. Emmons was a retired ordained minister with the Pentecostal Church of God. Born Aug. 16, 1941, in Morristown, Tenn., she was a daughter of Laura Faye Ward and Major Rodman Kimbrough, both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Jon Emmons, Indianapolis, Randy Ray (Kristi) Emmons, Bowling Green, Ky., and Tony Ray Emmons, Ellettsville; four sisters, Victoria (George) Langdon, Fortville, Ann (Jim) Stevenson, Morristown, Tenn., Barbara (Cecil) Knight, Talbot, Tenn., and Patty (Bill) Johnson, Bean Station, Tenn.; three brothers, Denny (Lisa) Femrite, Toledo, Wash.; Tim (Pam) Kimbrough, Morristown, Tenn., Dennis (SueEllen) Kimbrough, Morristown, Tenn., and Polly Kimbrough; nine grandchildren, Andrew Jon Emmons, Joseph Allen Emmons, Emily Stone Emmons, Kelly Suzanne Emmons, Natalie Jean Emmons, Randy Luke Emmons, Adam Ray Emmons, Scott Ray Emmons and Brian Joseph Emmons. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Art Webb; her stepmother, Mary Kimbrough; three brothers, David Ronald, Kenneth and Major Jr. Kimbrough and by her ex-husband, Raymond Cyrus Emmons. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hospice of South Central Indiana Inc.
