The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Wednesday, December 14, 1966 Page 9 Mrs. Ewing Dies Tuesday At Hospital Mrs. Bertha B. Ewing, 56, 623 McDonald street, died at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Schneck Memorial Hospital here. She had been ill for about 11 years. Mrs. Ewing was a member of the First Baptist Church here. She moved to Jackson County approximately 41 years ago. She was born April 20, 1910, in Washington County to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Repp Killion. She was married here in 1936 to Oscar W. Ewing, who survives. Survivors, in addition to the husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Chester Tracy, Seymour R2, and Miss Shirley Ewing, at home; six sisters, Mrs. Marshall Burns, Seymour, Mrs. Oscar Heiwig, Cortland, Mrs. Wesley Bottorff, Salem, Mrs. Raymond Manning, Crothersville, Mrs. Ruby Foreman, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Orpha Fleener, Seymour, and two grandchildren. Two borthers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the Burkholder Chapel with Dr. Stewart H. Silver, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and Dr. B.G. Wiggs, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Thursday at the Burkholder Funeral Homes.
