Gladys Clara Ferry

Gladys Clara Ferry, 87, died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour.
Mrs. Ferry was a homemaker and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.
Born Nov. 19, 1919, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Henry J. and Lena M. Rueter Peters, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 14, 1939, in Louisville, she married John F. Ferry, who died June 3, 2003.
Survivors include a daughter, Saundra Lee Ferry, Seymour; two sons, John Robert (JoAnn) Ferry, San Antonio, and Richard A. (Mary) Ferry, Fort Pierce, Fla; four grandchildren, Leslie A. Ferry, Fort Worth, Texas, Shawn Patrick (Kristin) Ferry, Furlong, Pa., Kevin M. (Amberly) Ferry, Austin, Texas, and Tonya (Lee) Titus, Twelve Mile; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Ferry, Austin, Texas, and Quinn Elise Ferry and John Brogan Ferry, both of Furlong, Pa.; and a sister, Margaret Foster, Seymour.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ervin and Henry W. Peters, and a sister, Dorothy Schultz.
The Rev. Ralph Blomenberg and the Rev. Philip Bloch will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at Lutheran Community Home. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at Lutheran Community Home.
Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran High School or the donor's choice.
