The Tribune Seymour, Indiana August 14, 2011 Tony Joe Fish Tony Joe Fish, 58, of Seymour passed away Friday, August 12, 2011, at University of Louisville Hospital with his family surrounding him with love. Mr. Fish was born October 20, 1952, in Seymour to the late Jacob Henry Fish and Betty Jean Allman Fish Personette. He was a control point operator for EPCO of Seymour. Mr. Fish graduated from Brownstown Central High School with the class of 1971. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Tony married Rebecca "Becky" Jessop on Feb. 17, 1979, in Louisville, Ky. He enjoyed the beach, playing pool, his family and being "Pappy" to his grandchildren, whom he adored. He was a member of the American Legion Post 89, Moose Lodge 418, and Fraternal Order of the Eagles 655, all of Seymour. Besides his wife Becky, he is survived by his stepmother, Ruth Joy Fish; sons, Adam (Tabitha) Fish and Barrett Fish; daughters, Stephanie (Tony) Beaty and Katie (Brian) Vetter; grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah Beaty, Caleb, Ryne and Baleigh Fish and Keegan and Kameron Vetter. Mr. Fish is also survived by his sisters, Cathy Harrell and Lori (Don) Barnet. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronald J. and Kevin J. Personette. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Steve Hyer officiating. A Moose ceremony will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Family and Friends may call at Voss Chapel from 3 p.m. Tuesday until time of service. Full military rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47 and Korean and Vietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour, after the funeral service. All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss Funeral Service and Tri-County Crematory.
