Mildred Marie Flanders

Mildred Marie Flanders, 87, Sumner, Ill., died at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2002, at Lawrence Community Healthcare Center, Bridgeport, Ill.
Mrs. Flanders was a homemaker. She was a member of Free Methodist Church and Eagle Branch Home Extension.
Born Dec. 1, 1914, in Lawrence County, Ill., she was a daughter of Willie Wagner and Leona Westall, who both preceded her in death. She married Lester Flanders and he died in 1966. She then married Gerald H. Martin and he died in 1992.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Flanders and Charles Flanders, both of Sumner, Ill.; a daughter, Martha Sue Self, Seymour; a brother, Melvin Wagner, Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Marjorie Fry, Lawrenceville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She also was preceded by a brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sivert-Macey and Steffey Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, Ill. Burial will be at Sumner City Cemetery, Sumner, Ill.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
