Seymour Tribune - September 25, 2009 Goldie C. Hall Fleetwood 1907 - 2009 Goldie C. Hall Fleetwood, 102, Clearspring, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at Covered Bridge Health Campus, Seymour. Mrs. Fleetwood was a member of Clearspring Baptist Church and was a housewife and mother. She graduated from Houston School in 1926. Born July 14, 1907, in Brown County, she was the daughter of Isaac and Bertha Harrell Hall, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 14, 1927, in Brownstown, she married Ray "Foxie" Fleetwood, who preceded her in death Dec. 30, 1977. Survivors include two sons, Gerald Fleetwood, LaGrange, Ill., and Marvin (Sue) Fleetwood, Brownstown; one daughter, Linda (Randall) Helmbrecht, Seymour; two daughters-in-law, Eldeena Fleetwood and Mary Jane Fleetwood, both of Brownstown; one niece, Phyllis Sherrill; seven grandchildren, Debbie (Jerry) Jackson, Rick Fleetwood, Marty (Juli) Fleetwood, Pam Knott, Rhonda (David) Otting, Lisa (Tom) Martin and Margaret Fleetwood; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Harold Fleetwood, Clyde O. Fleetwood and Robert Fleetwood; two sisters, Joyce Pfenning and Grace Deckard; and one brother, Glen Hall. David Sawyers will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Sunday at Spurgeon Funeral Home Inc., Brownstown. Burial will take place at Robertson Cemetery, Norman. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
