Seymour Daily Tribune February 5, 2002 Hayden Fleetwood Hayden Fleetwood, 90, Seymour, died at 6:03 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, after being in failing health for two months. Mr. Fleetwood retired from Cosco Industries in Columbus in 1973 and attended Surprise United Methodist Church. Born July 12, 1911, in Jackson County, he was a son of Adam Fleetwood and Maranda Spurgeon Fleetwood. On Feb. 25, 1931, in Jennings County, he married Anna Anderson, who died April 10, 1979. On July 3, 1982, at Acme, he married Carole M. Carmichael, who survives. Other survivors include four children Harold Gene (Dorene) Fleetwood, Mrs. Michael (Kathy) Pyle and Rodger Darrell (Sharon) Fleetwood, all of Seymour, and Mrs. John (Dorcas) Miller, Florida; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Jeff (Rita) McNeely, Ohio, Mrs. Kenneth (Nita) Mousa, Seymour, Peggy Rucker, Kentucky, and Mrs. Tom (Karen) Bates, Bedford; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Helen) York, Seymour; a daughter-in-law, Doris L. Fleetwood, Seymour; 10 grandchildren, Tim Fleetwood, Mrs. Tom (Debbie) Tormoehlen, Mrs. David (Becky) Martin, Pam Pearson, Todd Fleetwood, Kevin (Paula) Fleetwood, Kent (Lisa) Kline, Robert (Sandy) Fleetwood, David (Naomi) Pyle and Mrs. Mike (Angela) Thomas; eight stepgrandchildren, Mrs. Chris (Bambi) Cardinal, Brianne McNeely, Seth Mousa, Jordan McNeely, Sharla McNeely, Leah Mousa, Hallie Bates and Josie Bates; 13 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert N. Fleetwood, and two brothers, Farry and Elmo Fleetwood. The Rev. Tammy Roberts and the Rev. David Ison will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Acme Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after noon Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Surprise United Methodist Church.
