Robert Huston Foist
Aug. 31, 1927 – May 21, 2006 

Robert Huston Foist, 78, Louisville, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Baptist Hospital Northeast, LaGrange, Ky.
Mr. Foist served in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Scott County Moose and American Legion Post 89.
Born Aug. 31, 1927, in Seymour, he was a son of Irvin and Sophia Sutherland Foist, both of whom preceded him in death. On Aug. 19, 1989, in Murfreesboro, Tenn., he married Violet Hines Foist, who survives.
Other survivors include two children, Lisa Faris and Trina Woodring; four stepchildren, Tammy Lewis-Biener, William Potts, Tracy Pizarro and Teresa D’Avino; a brother, Marvin Foist; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Mary Busom Sutherland. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association, American Heart Association or Hospice.
