Seymour Daily Tribune March 25, 2002 Vivian Ruble Allen Folsom Vivian Ruble Allen Folsom, 86, Seymour, died at 1:34 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Heritage House of Seymour. Mrs. Folsom was a member of First Baptist Church in Seymour. She was a homemaker and worked in several of the Greensburg-area restaurants. Born July 1, 1915, in New Point, she was the daughter of Joseph Ruble and Stella Blair Ruble. On June 17, 1933, she married Walter William Allen, who died in October 1966. She married Oscar Folsom, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, John J. Allen, Seymour; a stepson, Walter W. Allen Jr., Greensburg; six grandchildren, Rex L. Allen, Cindy Steltenpohl, Gina L. Allen, Charles K. Allen and Jessica J. Meadors, all of Seymour, and Peggy S. Allen Barton, Indianapolis; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Sonny Allen and Charles J. “Bud” Allen; three stepchildren, Catherine Hall, Bonnie Holshouse and Elda “Bud” Allen; a granddaughter, Candy S. Allen; and four brothers, Joe Ruble Jr., Jimmy Ruble, Calvin Ruble and Lowell Ruble. The Rev. Bruce Cochran will conduct services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Union Presbyterian Cemetery, Letts. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to donor’s choice.
