Seymour Daily Tribune April 25, 2002 Louis W. Fox Louis W. Fox, 91, Muncie, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at his residence. Mr. Fox grew up in Seymour and graduated from Seymour High School. He worked as a messenger and a newspaper carrier during his high school years, then later worked for the Interurban and at Ball Corp. in the traffic department, from 1938 until he retired in 1975. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Born Oct. 25, 1910, in Seymour, he was the son of Carrie E. Mohler Fox and Edward L. Fox and they preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, James M. (Elizabeth) Fox, Muncie; three daughters, Ann Marie (David) Dale and Eileen Jeanette (the late Dennis L.) Orosz, both of Muncie, and Margaret Jane (Stephen) Hiatt, Losantville; a sister, Doris Marie Gill, Seymour; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a step-great-grandson, five nieces and three nephews. He also was preceded by his wife of 62 years, Vivian Poore Fox, in 1993; and a grandson, Thomas E. Dale. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Muncie. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at The Meeks Mortuary, Muncie. A rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
