Margaret Catherine (Miller) Fox
1916 - 2008 
Margaret Catherine Fox, 92, North Vernon, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Jennings Health Care Center.
Mrs. Fox was a 1934 graduate of North Vernon High School. She was a homemaker but had previously been employed at Miller Lumber Co., Matthews Drug Store and Regal Rugs. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, and a former member of Daughters of Isabella, North Vernon Senior Center, St. Vincent Jennings Hospital Guild and several card clubs.
Born Sept. 27, 1916, in North Vernon, she was the daughter of Clem and Mary Doran Miller, both of whom preceded her in death. On June 27, 1951, at St. Mary's Church, she married Philip Stephen Fox, who preceded her in death in 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ann Fox, North Vernon, and Mary (Norman W.) Phillips, Seymour, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Philip Edward Fox, and a brother, Edward "Eddie" Miller.
The Rev. Stephen Donahue will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sawyer Pickett Funeral and Cremation Services, North Vernon, with a Rosary service at 8 p.m.
