Seymour Tribune - November 2008 Anderson E. "Red" Fraley 1931 - 2008 Anderson E. "Red" Fraley, 77, Seymour, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. Mr. Fraley was a retired self-employed truck driver for A & S Transportation in Seymour, and former co-owner of the old Red's Smorgasbord in Scottsburg. Red was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Seymour, a U.S. Army veteran, past master and member of Scottsburg Lodge 572 Free and Accepted Masons and former member of American Legion Post 89 in Seymour. Born March 12, 1931, in Booneville, Ky., the son of Daniel Boone and Polly Riley Fraley, both of whom preceded him in death. On Jan. 12, 1951, he married Sheila Burns Fraley, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Harvey D. Fraley, Austin; two daughters, Rhonda L. Fuel, Westport, and Barbara A. White, Seymour; a sister, Malvery Ross, Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, John Herald and Bob Emery, both of Cincinnati; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Fraley; two great-grandchildren, Ricky Eisenmenger and Kianna Dickinson; and two brothers, Mendell Herald and Wilgus Fraley. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in Scottsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
