Lucille Franklin, 70, died at 12:24 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Franklin was a housekeeper for Lutheran Community Home in Seymour and was a member of Mountain Baptist Church.
Born March 15, 1936, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of William and Mary Rose Trowbridge Blackford. In 1953, she married Earl Crane, whom she divorced in 1954. In 1955, she married Kenneth "Toodie" Black, who died Nov. 2, 1963. On March 12, 1965, in Brownstown, she married Oscar Franklin Jr., who survives.
Other survivors include four children, Kathy Turner, Seymour, Kenneth Black, Seymour, Belinda Black, Houston, Texas, and Terry Black, Seymour; two stepchildren, Dennis Franklin and Steve Franklin, both of Seymour; six grandchildren, DJ Lovegrove, Austin, Travis Lovegrove, Jacksonville, Fla., Kathie Riley, Austin, Shawn Franklin, Columbus, and Michelle Beatty and Tim Franklin, both of Seymour; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Glenna Davis, Richmond.
She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, 14 siblings and three sons-in-law.
The Rev. Van Breeding will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the family.
