Seymour Daily Tribune December 13, 2006 Marjorie Ann Freeman March 6, 1928 - Dec. 12, 2006 Marjorie Ann Freeman, 78, Vallonia, died at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Driftwood Christian Church. She worked at the Vallonia Tree Nursery and was a homemaker. She loved to be with her friends, cook, and sit on her front porch and watch the hummingbirds. Born March 6, 1928, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Henry Knott and Faye McConnell Knott Sutherland, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 27, 1946, in Seymour, she married Ralph M. Freeman, who preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1995. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Anderson, Vallonia; one sister, Elizabeth "Lib" Knott Harmon, Hope; one grandchild, Brian Freeman, Vallonia; one niece, Kay Phair, Hope; and one great niece, Michelle Fortini, Columbus. The Rev. Michael Hogg will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Burial will take place at White River Valley Cemetery, Medora. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Freeman family.
