Ruth Evelyn Black Fritzsche
Ruth Evelyn Black Fritzsche, 70, Chicago, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008.
Mrs. Fritzsche was a 1956 graduate of Brownstown High School.
She was the daughter of Hollis and Frieda Gibson Black, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Peter B. Fritzsche, who preceded her in death.
She was the loving mother of Kathleen Fritzsche (Adam) Sciortino, Bartley, David (Jennifer), Alex (Kathryn), Griffin and Brendan (Amanda) Fritzsche; dear grandmother of Peter, Caleb and Griffin Fritzsche, Charlie, Thomas and Mim Fritzsche and Ella and Genevieve Sciortino; loving sister of Bonnie Combs, Joella Gallion, Roger Black and the late Norma Nichols; beloved niece of Norman Gibson, Emil Gibson, Irvin Gibson and Edgar Black and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church.
Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Road, Skokie, Ill.
