Seymour Daily Tribune May , 2002 Barbara Ann Galliher Barbara Ann Galliher, 69, North Vernon, died at 3:13 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus, following an extended illness. Mrs. Galliher worked at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center for 18 years. She had been a deputy auditor and had also worked at Home Federal Savings Bank. She was a member of Tea Creek Baptist Church, North Vernon, and the American Baptist Women’s Association, and had been involved in 4-H. She enjoyed her family and bowling. Born April 29, 1933, in Lovett Township, she was the daughter of Roe and Bea Malott Green. On July 27, 1950, she married Charles Galliher, and he died Aug. 20, 1982. She is survived by three daughters, Vickie Ritchie, Beverly Jo Gaylen and Donna Ritchie, all of North Vernon; three sons, Darrell Galliher, Commiskey, and David Galliher and Tony Galliher, both of North Vernon; four brothers, Robert Green, Anderson, Gary Green, New Washington, and Paul Green and Dannie Green, both of North Vernon; three sisters, Judy Doran, Ellettsville, and Mary Sue Green and Linda Miller, both of North Vernon; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Green. The Rev. Dave Wharton will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Tea Creek Baptist Church, North Vernon. Burial will be at Tea Creek Cemetery, North Vernon. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Vance-Fisher-Sawyer Funeral Chapel, North Vernon. Memorials may be made to Tea Creek Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
