Seymour Daily Tribune April 8, 2002 Deborah Lynne Lahrman Gamble Deborah Lynne Lahrman Gamble, 49, of Leimen, Germany, and formerly of Brownstown, died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany. She had been ill for 18 months. Mrs. Gamble was a member of the United Methodist Church of Columbus, Ga., and had worked as hazardous waste manager with the environmental department at Fort Benning, Ga. In 1999 she moved to Germany to become environmental program manager with the Environmental Department of the U.S. Army at Heidelberg, Germany. She was a graduate of Brownstown Central High School and Ball State University. Born May 22, 1952, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Robert F. and Helen Hamer Lahrman. Both survive in Brownstown. On March 10, 1982, in Manchester, Ga., she married Carter A. Gamble, who also survives. Other survivors include two sons, Carter A. (C.J.) Gamble Jr., stationed with the U.S. Army in Giessen, Germany, and Philip Zachary Gamble, Leimen, Germany; and three brothers, Brad Lahrman, Indianapolis, Frank Lahrman, Seymour, and Marc A. Lahrman, Brownstown. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, C.W. and Jessie Lahrman and John and Lottie Hamer. A memorial service was conducted April 8 at Grace International Baptist Church in Sandhausen, Germany, for friends and co-workers. The Rev. Jack Shake will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Brownstown United Methodist Church.
