Helen May (McKinsey) George

Helen May (McKinsey) George, 97, formerly of Norman, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
Mrs. George was a homemaker and was a 50 year member of Women of the Moose, Valparaiso Chapter.
Born May 18, 1909, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of James B. McKinsey and Ethel May Fish, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Horace Greeley George, who preceded her in death in June 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jeanne Howard, West Lafayette; and one nephew, Gerald L. McKinsey, Madison, Ala.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Odell McKinsey.
Ronnie Plummer will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Plainview Cemetery, Colfax, Ind.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
