Alma B. (Brand) Gibson
1914 - 2009 
Alma B. Gibson, 94, Columbus, died at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
She was retired from Arvin Industries, where she was an executive administrative assistant. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Columbus.
Mrs. Gibson was born in Seymour on Nov. 20, 1914, the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Spieker Brand. She married Paul Franklin Gibson on June 6, 1943, in Austin, and he preceded her in death Sept. 22, 2003.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
The Rev. Patrick Galligar will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street in Columbus, with burial to take place in Garland Brook Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
