Lola Gilbert
Lola Gilbert, 68, Austin, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a member of Free Holiness Church of God, Austin.
Born May 26, 1933, in Clay County, Ky., she was a daughter of Willie Martin and Mary Carmack Martin. She married Felix Gilbert, who survives in Austin.
Other survivors include three sons, Charles Gilbert, Felix Gilbert Jr. and Lester D. Gilbert, all of Austin; five daughters, Pearlie Campbell, Jewell Smith and Linda Baker, all of Austin, Dosha Aynes, Lexington, and Mary Smith, Austin; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ella Combs, Austin, and Hester Frady, Hope.
The Rev. Don Burns and the Rev. Larry Hatton will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be in Oak Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
