Jesse H. Gist
Jesse H. Gist, 76, Little York, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
He lived most of his life in Scott County. He was a retired machine operator and had worked for the old Anaconda Aluminum Co. in Louisville for 15 years.
Born Dec. 6, 1925, in Clay County, Tenn., he was the son of Bennie F. Gist and Lovell Compton.
Survivors include a son, Gary Neal Gist, Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Leann Lomanto, South Jamesport, N.Y.; a sister, Ogle F. Short, Scottsburg; and five grandchildren.
A grandson, Adam Gaio, preceded him in death.

Greg Shuler will conduct funeral services at noon Friday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in Scottsburg Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
